Spooner's Cove Dive at Montana de Oro, 24 April 2002

It just worked out perfectly.  The weather was incredibly beautiful, the swells were non-existent, and Jeff, Mark, Kinsley, and Archer were all able to take off on a Wednesday afternoon to go for the greatest shore dive of the season!  The visibility was excellent -- 30' or so.  The area we dove was teeming with fascinating life forms.  I even saw a few fish that I'd never seen before and a few schools of thousands of fry (baby fish).  The terrain on the bottom of the ocean was amazing.  One of these days, I'm going to invest in an underwater housing for my camera so I can share a bit more of the whole experience.
